Our client in the Castro Valley, CA is seeking for a dedicated and compassionate Medical Receptionist to join their healthcare team. The Dental Receptionist plays a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to ensure smooth operations within their medical facility. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere for patients and visitors.

Requirements

  • Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in healthcare administration would be advantageous.
  • Demonstrated experience as a medical receptionist or in a customer service role, preferably within a medical setting.
  • Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and medical staff.
  • Strong organizational skills, coupled with meticulous attention to detail in data entry.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, multitask effectively, and maintain a detail-oriented demeanor.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, insurance processes, and HIPAA regulations is desirable.
  • A compassionate and patient-centered attitude when interacting with patients and their families.
  • Problem-solving acumen and the ability to navigate challenging situations with diplomacy and tact.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and tasks in alignment with the dynamic needs of the medical facility.
