Job Summary

Timber Dental is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dental Regional Manager to oversee the operations of our dental clinics across six locations. As a Dental Regional Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning and profitability of each dental clinic, maintaining high-quality patient care, and achieving business objectives. Your strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills will be vital in effectively managing the dental teams and driving operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Operational Management:
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to dental clinic managers in each Timber Dental location.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of all Timber Dental clinics, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Implement standardized processes and best practices to optimize efficiency and productivity across locations.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze trends, and develop strategies to improve operational performance.
  • Ensure adequate staffing levels, manage schedules, and facilitate training programs to enhance team capabilities.
  • Financial Management:
  • Collaborate with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to develop and manage annual budgets for each Timber Dental clinic.
  • Work with the CFO to analyze financial performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
  • Conduct financial forecasting and make data-driven decisions to enhance profitability.
  • Collaborate with the Collections department to hit collections targets and optimize revenue management.
  • Manage office supply costs by implementing cost-saving measures, negotiating supplier contracts, and monitoring inventory levels.
  • Quality Assurance:
  • Maintain and enforce high standards of patient care, infection control, and safety protocols across all Timber Dental locations.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and quality standards.
  • Implement quality improvement initiatives, provide feedback to clinic managers, and address performance gaps.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development among dental teams.
  • Staff Management:
  • Manage doctors and staff time off requests, ensuring coverage and smooth operations.
  • Lead weekly office manager meetings to facilitate communication, share updates, and address any operational concerns.
  • Provide guidance and support to clinic managers in performance evaluations, career development, and staff management.
  • Foster a positive work environment, resolve conflicts, and promote effective teamwork and communication.
  • Stakeholder Relations:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with patients, dental professionals, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with marketing and business development teams to develop and implement strategies for patient acquisition and retention.
  • Represent Timber Dental at industry events, conferences, and professional forums to enhance its reputation and visibility.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Dental Practice Manager or Regional Manager.
  • In-depth knowledge of dental clinic operations, regulatory compliance, and industry best practices.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and revenue management.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with dental practice management software and technology.
  • Ability to travel regularly to the Timber Dental clinic locations.
  • Covid Vaccination or approved exemption paperwork required
